November 29, 2019 - The Bank of Georgia announces the launch of innovative products throughout the region. The Bank has declared 2020 the year of innovation. For the first time in the entire region, a Bank of Georgia customer travels by subway to a so-called camera identifier. With Face Recognition, you can do the same with "pay with a smile". The new payment system is an innovative product that has not been introduced in the region, but even across Europe. The Bank of Georgia is the first bank to introduce "Smile Payment" not only in Georgia but also in CEMEA (Central Europe, Middle East and Africa) countries. Paying for Face Recognition is innovative, safe, easy and fast. Even 0.5 seconds when paying with a smile makes it easy for the user to easily identify with the tour camera and pay the travel fee instead of using the card. "Smile pay" is already available in the Avlabari metro. An innovative payment system was introduced as a result of the partnership with Visa.
